Dear Last Chance Chapel, friends, and family

Thank you for all your prayers and support. Things are going well here in Japan. It is getting cold though. I will need to search for firewood for the stove soon. Just had a harvest party instead of Halloween for my kid students. They seemed to enjoy it although not all of them dressed up. Guess the older kids were to embarrassed. :/ Still need a car for next year, so I appreciate your prayers going out for that. Thank you and God bless... :)

Dear Last Chance Chapel, friends, and family

Thank you for all your prayers and support. Things are going well here. There has not been a lot going on really. I'm sorry to say I believe I lost my cat. He never showed up one day. My students are doing well. It is hard though to teach the really young ones. They misbehave a lot.

Sorry for the lack of pictures. The kids really love this lesson about a Superhero theme. They love the song, so I decided to put these pictures up. I should be putting up more pictures up near the end of this month. I am going to make something like a harvest party for my kid students where they can dress up. It should be fun. Also I got some more classes this month, so I am being blessed. God bless...

Dear Last Chance Chapel, friends, and family

Thank you for all your prayers and support. Things are going well here in Japan. There has not been much going on. The humidity is slowly going away. :) It will be time to get some firewood for the winter soon. I do have some prayer requests. I will be needing a new or used car soon next year, since this car I am using right now might be on it's last year of running. :/ Also I need more English classes or something, because the cost of living is high in Japan. It will be a time of reflecting whether I should continue this ministry or not, but I know if this is God's will for me to be in Japan, He will provide. Also, if I am able to continue living in Japan, I will be able to help my brother and his family get settled in when they come to Japan next year for the ministry. Thank you for the prayers for me, the churches here, and my students. God bless... :)

Dear Last Chance Chapel, friends, and family

Thank you for all your prayers and support.Things are going well here, but I miss home. I have some good news. I recently got my three year extension visa. :) I would send a picture of it, but because of privacy reasons I won't post it. So it looks like I am going to stay in Japan a bit longer.

Classes are going well. Getting some new students. Please continue to pray for them for their salvation. It would be great if the Japanese people would have their eyes open to the gospel. God bless...

Dear Last Chance Chapel, friends, and family

Thank you for all your prayers and support. Well, still waiting on my visa situation. I have until the end of June to receive a reply about whether I am allowed to stay in Japan or not. Please continue to pray about this.

Classes are going well. There are many challenges that I have though, because I teach a wide variety of ages. Teaching the younger ones is especially a challenge. Recently we had an event called Hello Kids, where we reached out to the community near the Life Song church in Tenri. I did a Bible presentation with my felt program. Thank you once again for keeping this ministry in your prayers. God bless...

P.S.  Pictures of my 3 or 4 year old class facing the camera. One of my best classes. :)
The other is the Bible presentation.

Dear Last Chance Chapel, friends, and family

Thank you for all your prayers and support. Well, it has been about a week since my sister Bethany moved to Russia for the mission field. It will be a new chapter in our lives with both of us in two different countries. I just recently got some good news. I am able to stay in Japan for another two months. :) I am still waiting for a reply about extending my stay in Japan for three years. I hope it will come.

Classes are going good. Always have student behavior problems though with the kids. :/ The two adult students that got recently saved, still need some more time. They still don't understand the salvation message. A lot of my students don't understand why they need salvation. So with these two adult students, I am going to show the Jesus movie in Japanese. It will be their first time watching the film. God bless...

P.S. The pictures are a recent event that I went to along with my sister. It was the anniversary of the head of the Bible College in Ikoma. My great uncle Coote married the pastor and his wife.
